Lil Jess Tivio is a buckskin OWN son of Jessie Tivio x Poco Tivio. He is 100% foundation by NFQHA, FQHR and WFQHA standards and is one of very few of the Poco Tivio grand-get to be 100%. Jess carries 36.7% Poco Bueno blood (7 crosses) and 20.7% King blood (11 crosses) and stands 14.3hh. Jess has been tested by UC Davis and is Homozygous Black and Agouti which means he will never throw a red foal!! Jess is a grandson of Rickles Poco Bueno, the only stallion in the world out of an own son and an own daughter of Poco Bueno. Jess's maternal grandmother is a own daughter of Jessie Tivio making Jess double-bred Poco Tivio and Jessie James. Jess is a true bulldog, OLD foundation stallion. He is the only stallion in the world bred like this, Jessie Tivio passed away before Lil Jess Tivio's dam could be bred back. Jess has a wide front end, large hip, small head and ears, nice muscle and a natural ability like all of the Poco Tivio horses. His pedigree has no-holes consisting of great horses such as Poco Bueno, King and Jessie James. Beyond his breeding, Jess has a great disposition and temperment and his foals are demonstrating the same. He is easy to handle and we do all of our breeding by hand. Jess does stand to approved outside mares for a fee of $550.00. Mare care is $5 dry/$8 wet per day. We are only live covering at this time but will be shipping semen in the near future. We feel Jess is one of the best stallions standing in the country...Poco Bueno, King, Jessie James all in one and add in 100% NFQHA...he is one of the best of the best.
